To find the file in Windows Explorer, you can search for the file in Windows Search (Start -> Search), or click the Windows button, type the name of the file, and click Go.
The problem is that the appended "2009" to the filenames indicates that they have been created in AutoCAD 2009, and so the file is not in AutoCAD. You need to either create a copy of your drawing in AutoCAD, or use a program like AutoCAD LT which does support filetypes other than DWG.
VIDEO: Thieves steal 200-year-old money in Monmouthshire
FROM price tagging ancient monuments to the audacity of stealing two-hundred year-old money, these are the worst crimes ever committed in Monmouthshire.
HIS
Monmouthshire Police have issued a warning to the public that in the last few days two pieces of £20 banknotes have been stolen from The Wales Development Bank, on the outskirts of Abergavenny.
A spokesman said that on December 17, bank staff discovered that two banknotes had been removed from the cashpoint machine, which was locked at the time.
The two notes were stolen from the Bank between December 19-20 and were last seen being held by a man.
The next day, on December 20, a further banknote was found on the floor of an office and also missing.
Police said that the notes had been handed in to the Bank from another cash machine earlier that week.
Inquiries have not revealed the whereabouts of the £20 notes, which were made in the early 1800s.
Thieves are still at large for a crime that has never been recorded in the Monmouthshire area before.
The spokesman said: “This is the first time this has ever happened in the history of the area.
“The notes were taken from a bank machine that was locked at the time.”
“The other incident is a bit of a mystery.”
The spokesman added: “There have been no further incidents of this nature.
“This is the first time. It’s a mystery.”
Anyone who has any information about the theft of the money is asked to contact police on 0845 130250 or text 6070, quoting reference 432017000438.
